BetterCareSolutions.uk aims to publish health and healthy-living information that is accurate, useful and clear about its evidence and limitations. This page explains how we handle corrections, updates and reader reports.
How to report an error
If you believe a page contains a factual error, outdated guidance, broken source, misleading statement or important omission, email hello@bettercaresolutions.uk.
Please include the page URL, the statement you believe needs review and, where possible, a reliable source that helps explain the issue.
What we review
We prioritise corrections that could materially affect a reader’s understanding of health, nutrition, exercise, medicines, supplements, safety, eligibility or other consequential decisions.
Minor spelling, grammar or formatting issues may be corrected without a formal note when they do not change the meaning of the article.
How we correct material errors
When a material factual problem is confirmed, we update or remove the inaccurate statement and recheck the surrounding section so that the correction does not create a new inconsistency. Important health articles may also receive a refreshed reviewed or updated date after substantive rechecking.
How we handle changing guidance
Health recommendations, public guidance, product information and regulatory status can change. A page that was accurate when published may need revision later. We do not preserve outdated claims merely because they attract search traffic.
Evidence standards
For health claims, we prefer sources such as the NHS, NICE, GOV.UK, the World Health Organization, recognised professional bodies and peer-reviewed research. Commercial or secondary lifestyle sources should not be the sole basis for important medical or clinical claims.
Editorial independence
Advertising, affiliate relationships and sponsorships do not prevent us from correcting editorial content. A commercial relationship does not override our accuracy standard.
